The DREAM PUSHER UNPLUGGED SERIES unites imaginative dreamers in an entertaining and engaging experience through the incorporation of live music, conversation, and meaningful connections. Hosting For the Culture, an interactive conversation + experience which will explore the impact/ influence of hip hop on our lives.

It all started in the Bronx, 1973. Who knew “that hip-hop would take it this far?” On Friday, June 16, in honor of Black Music Month, we have an evening filled with tributes to one of Black culture’s foundational structures, hip hop. Although four hours could never do justice to the immeasurable impact of this nuanced cultural phenomenon, we offer concurrent programming that will feature dance, live music, analysis, conversation, hands-on art, and more. Raise a Glass on The Straz’s beautiful riverfront and ring in 2023 with a celebration like no other in Tampa Bay. Following the New Year’s Eve performance of Hamilton, DJ Sandman keeps the beat going before hip-hop and soul artist Dynasty shares the Riverwalk Stage with some of Tampa’s top talent – J’Nelle & Trumaine Lamar – to ensure a fresh, funky start of the new year.

In addition to dancing the night away, guests will sip delectable specialty beverages, indulge in an elevated On The River menu and strike a pose (or a few) in front of the stunning backdrop of Downtown Tampa and the Hillsborough River.

Berks Women Inspiring Women holds an annual event every August entitled “ We Are Stronger Together”. This year's event will be held at the Denver Memorial Park on August 15th from 12pm till 6pm. "We Are Stronger Together" is very near and dear to our founder Candice Newton. She believes that this event starts healing for many women that attend and even some of the women that are speaking.
This year, we have women who have overcame their trauma and have healed, while paying forward the hope to those who may struggle. Last year's annual, lives were changed and healing began, where over 200 people were on the grounds of the Sterling Mansion in Reading Pa.

This year's event is projected to bring in 400 plus. We will be having vendors showcasing their businesses with merchandise, food, refreshments and more!
