...I'm reciting lines in a different way. ;)
I recently had the opportunity to take part in a stage play called Think Like a Lady by Inkwell Pictures. I almost didn't do it because the time was short, I was prepping for my album release AND tour and it just seemed to be a bit too much. Fortunately, the director (Marvin Coleman) was persistent and convinced me to give it a shot. The play, written by his twin (Melvin Coleman) was funny and thought provoking and it brought me out of my comfort zone a little. You know I am about that "step out of the box" life, even when a lil doubtful, so I went for it. I'm glad that I did because I got to work alongside an awesome cast, build new relationships and star in my first filmed theater production!
Hopefully this will be the first of many as I continue to grow as an artist and actress. Actually, scratch the hopeful part...I'm certain that it will BE!
